The Joys of Dog Ownership
Who here has pets? I have one very rambunctious Australian Shepherd named Bear. When he is bad he gets full named "Theodore Bear," and he just knows he's in trouble. He may be hard to handle sometimes but he's the light of my life. Bear came to me in a different way than most people get dogs. My friend, Lisa, knew I was in the market for a canine companion so one day she showed up with him. She had gone to the animal shelter and hand picked this ball of fur just for me. I took him home for an overnight trial, and never looked back. His history at the time was unknown to me, but come to find out he was rescued from a garage where he lived, by himself, for who knows how long. It was love a first sight. They told me he was about 3 or 4 at the shelter, but the 4 pairs of shoes he ate seemed to differ from that assumption. I love coming home to this furry, excited creature.
